Handwoven Rattan & Bamboo Lidded Basket

They say it’s what’s on the inside that matters most, but we must respectfully disagree when it comes to this basket. You could fill it with knick-knacks you want out of sight, glassware you only use for celebrations, a throw blanket next to the sofa, or simply leave it empty—the rattan and bamboo braiding weave a story all on their own.

Asian, mid-20th century.
